Hi, my name is Dylana Baez. I’m 22 years old and I own an online vintage clothing shop called Vintage Hotties!
At the age of 17, I really started to dive into the process of curating my wardrobe and personal style. I have always been super girly, love to stand out, and be super extra with my outfits.
My main style inspiration would definitely be Bratz dolls and the early 2000s! Growing up my biggest role models were people like Britney Spears, Hannah Montana, and The Pussy cat dolls. I also had babysitters who were in their late teens/early 20s who I was so fascinated by, I loved to see.
My role models and the environment around me growing up definitely played a huge role in where my wardrobe developed.
At 19 years old I had my son, pregnancy and motherhood jumped at me and I was faced with what I like to call an identity crisis I didn’t know what I wanted to do or be… that’s where my online shop started.
I started selling clothes from my closet on Depop. Y2K fashion had its foot in the door in making a full come back so my Depop very quickly became successful! I took inspiration from internet girl and stared doing Y2K style bundles!
I posted YouTube videos showing how I styled each bundle which really helped my shop grow! What was once me just selling clothes from my closet built into a full-time small business and I am now still able to work from home and be with my son doing work I love!
TikTok came around and I started posting content about my style and thrifting and grew a platform! I have since been able to make money on social media and have collaborated with some of my favorite brands!
My goal now is to continue to grow my platforms as well as my shop! I'm super excited to see what’s to come in the future!
