YOUR MUSIC SPANS VARIOUS GENRES, CREATING A UNIQUE BLEND OF SOUNDS. COULD YOU ELABORATE ON HOW YOU WOULD DESCRIBE THIS DISTINCT FUSION AND SHARE AN EXCITING CHALLENGE OR EXPERIMENT YOU'VE UNDERTAKEN TO MERGE THESE GENRES? HOW DID IT PUSH THE BOUNDARIES OF YOUR CREATIVITY?

For sure, for sure. I think my work often functions as a Rorschach test of the things I'm currently listening to, and my playlists can get pretty weird, admittedly. But to be honest, I'm not too worried about genres when I'm recording. Instead, I try to think about the broader questions – what is this song is trying to say, and how does it feel in the room? As my Gen-Z cohorts might inquire, "Does it slap?"

My recent single "Kick the Habit" is kind of ground zero for all of this stuff. It's got a really cool mix of breakbeats and guitars, and I had a blast putting those parts together. As an artist, those are the moments you live for.
